E-2 interview questions cluster around four tests: where your money came from, whether the business is real, whether it can grow beyond supporting you, and whether you will direct it. Answer those four convincingly and the interview is short.
The questions, by what they are testing
Source of funds. How did you earn or obtain the investment? Expect them to have read your bank records; inconsistency is worse than modesty.
The business. What does it do, where is the premises, how many customers or contracts, who runs it today? Officers pattern-match against paper companies, so operational specifics win.
Marginality and the plan. Revenue so far, hiring plans, projections, and why they are believable. Know your own hiring numbers cold.
Your role and intent. What you will do day to day, and your ties and intention to depart when status ends. Rehearsed speeches read worse than plain, specific answers.
What to bring
